This apple was developed in New Zealand and is the red colour of the Gala variety. It is derived from Cox's Orange, Golden Delicious and Red Delicious varieities. It is a very crisp and sweet apple, with a dinstinctive red fleck through the skin.

A semi sweet apple that is classically used for desserts. This apple was one of the first apples to reach export markets. It has a red flush on a light yellow skin.

Developed in New Zealand this apple has a medium to high acidity. The tartness of this apple makes it more popular in Europe and North America. It has great storage quality and has a distinctive crisp flesh. It has a bold red stripe on a partially orange-red colour with a green background.

Developed in New Zealand and exclusive to Freshco, is a cross between Gala and Red Delicious. An exceptionally sweet apple with strong flavour with no acidity. Very crisp flesh with a red blush over yellow skin.

This immensely flavourful variety, grows large in size. This crisp apple is known for its hard texture and syrupy flavour. Its very versatile and is very good for cooking as well as eating, because it holds its texture. It produces a pinky red colour at harvest which occurs in March/April.

Working closely with Club Tentation NZ, this exclusive variety is available through Freshco. A French apple that is known to blush better in New Zealand than where it is grown in Europe.
