The Fresh Fruit Company of New Zealand (Freshco) grows, packs and exports a wide range of apple varieties right herein Hawkes Bay. We have grown both in New Zealand and internationally and is at an exciting phase with plans for major volume expansion in orcharding and post-harvest.
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has become available at Freshco! We are actively seeking outstanding Supervisors to join our dynamic Packhouse Team. Operating from the first week of February to July 2024, our Packhouse offers varied working hours, with a daytime shift starting at 6 am and afternoon shift at 4pm. As part of our commitment to our team’s well-being we provide daily cooked breakfasts and offer monthly incentives.
We anticipate that you will bring extensive leadership experience and a profound understanding of the day-to-day tasks essential for ensuring the delivery of top-quality packed apples. Your ability to embrace diverse cultures and your prior experience collaborating with our RSE Teams are invaluable assets. During peak seasons, your dedication will involve working six days a week.

While this is initially a seasonal position, there is potential for the right candidate to receive additional opportunities within our company during the off-season.
As the successful candidate you will have:
· A minimum of 2-years’ packhouse experience
· Team Leadership experience
· Excellent Time Management skills
· Good communication, verbal and written.
· Current Full-Drivers Licence
